OCEAN JEWELS COLLECTION

Few of us can resist the call of the sea, particularly when it comes in the form of a pretty cockle shell. Now, one of the world's oldest and lovable ornamentation comes embellished with guinea gold and modern styling in our Ocean Jewels Collection. As a wearer or viewer you will be enthralled by the creative combination of gold wires, chhela katai pieces and loops to turn nature's loveliest creations into exquisite earrings and pendants that delight and demand attention.

MYSORE COLLECTION

The last Maharajah of Mysore was a patron of the intriguing craft of ivory inlay on rosewood. Nowadays, rosewood is used sparingly and ivory has been replaced by acrylic to become an evolving art known as 'Mysore Marquetry'. In the Mysore Collection, the artistic skills of Mysore and Calcutta blend to create a new tradition -- with the touch of 24K gold to enrich the wood. History is preserved yet restated in contemporary style with beautiful little ornaments you would love to wear.

JAIPUR BLUE COLLECTION

At The Gold Factory we who took Jaipur Blue Pottery out of its customary form and made it into precious jewellery -- with a touch of gold. In doing so we helped preserve an important heritage, extending the reach of a much-loved cottage industry. We preserved the traditional techniques of the craft to give glazed clay its place in the sun, turning it into a valuable personal effect, and helping artisans express their creative talents in fresh, new ways.

Our Jaipur Blue Collection boasts of conversation pieces in dazzling colours and pleasing patterns. The gold is minimal but catches the eye, and the beading is thick and bright. Try them as much for their sensational looks as for their unique character. Discover a gorgeous fusion of two famous Indian handicraft traditions.

S & M collection

You don't need to be a superwoman to sport this collection. Nor do you have to wear a tight bodysuit or display intricate tattoos to qualify. They may be a bit 'on the edge', if you know what we mean, but it is not just whip-wielding vigilantes who will look and feel good on wearing them. What you do need is Attitude with a capital A.

True, this leather-and-gold S & M Collection is not for the faint-hearted or the coy 'Ghar ki bahu' types. Say 'Yes' if your style is independent, assertive and confident. These are not mere ornaments with history and provenance - they are a statement of self belief.

Give it a shot, but be careful. This collection has a delightful habit of radicalising you. Oh, and the cute little dog. It doesn't come with the jewellery, for sure, but if you want to own some teeth and growl, may we suggest a Doberman Pinscher.

Freedom Collection

Freedom Collection from The Gold Factory is India’s first fine jewellery line for the LGBTQ community and their many friends and supporters. The line comprises handcrafted silver pendants, earrings, tops and cufflinks, all featuring the joyous rainbow-coloured Pride Flag, or the iconic Lambda symbol.

Freedom Collection was launched on 2nd July, 2009, the first anniversary of the historic Delhi High Court Ruling repealing Article 377.

In the words of the designers, "We do not believe that Freedom Collection will change the world. Nor for that matter, will a single court ruling. Societal acceptance comes organically, through a long period of struggle that changes society’s attitudes and beliefs from within. What we do believe, however, is that we will be one of the many committed voices that are being raised -- by individuals, organizations, activists, lawmakers, and commerce, that will resonate together to bring about this change."

The designers hope that Freedom Collection will be a source of beauty and joy for the LGBTQ community, as well as its many friends and allies, and also a source of pride in who they are, and what they do.
