An exquisitely enamelled pendant set that uses granulated patterns to great effect and makes of the centrepiece a magnificently contrasted red and green pradip decorated with an extravagant ball-jhur fringe. The ball-chokha clusters on the sides extend the pendant and add character while the two chhela dholaks add welcome glitter to an otherwise all-polished jewel.
The gote-chains that run up the sides are also chiselled and in minimal weight make the ornamnent a full necklace. All in all, a terrific example of a small jewel crafted entirely by hand in hallmarked 22K gold in a design that's at once endearing, ethnic and extremely smart.
