What is it ? A passion flower, a spirograph design, lotus mandala . . . God knows. Whatever it is, it's quite an eyeful. The wire around the periphery is a bit iffy (it needn't show ; an underwire would have done better justice to the double-line petals) but otherwise the whole piece comes together well, striking a nice balance in its mix of katai, reji and paktar so that the typical Regular Section finish doesn't choke the patterns into a bland, homogeneous mass of gold. This Dhanteras lot of Regular 22K hallmarked jewels has possibilities. And when combined with the sweet deals on offer, those possibilities need to be looked at hard. Gold, after all, is gold.
