This one's an exaggerated maduli or amulet with eight chambers lightly chased and frosted into the central part.
The ends are pointed and fluted and seem a bit too sharp for comfort but design-wise make the pendant quite dramatic. The pearl-and-Indian-ruby drops are a nice contrast and the same combination is repeated in the rope running through the loop.
